Jemma Hook, The Mummy Dentist
The Mummy Dentist aka Jemma Hook BDS (Hons), MFDS RSC (Ed), PGCert and Member of British Society of Paediatric Dentistry (BSPD UK).
Jemma works in general practice as an NHS family dentist and also as a clinical teacher in Paediatric Dentistry. She started the instagram account @themummydentist whilst on maternity leave last year to promote oral health as part of general wellbeing for mums and babies. Amy McMillan, Breathe Calm
Amy is a yoga and mindfulness teacher based in Guildford, Surrey. She runs classes, workshops and 1:1 sessions in the community, schools and on Skype. Yoga and mindfulness have changed her life and she enjoys sharing the benefits with others because she knows the physical, mental and emotional changes these practices can bring. She started Breathe Calm Yoga and Mindfulness in 2012 after training to teach yoga with Michael de Manincor at the Yoga Institute in Sydney. She has also trained to teach mindfulness with Mindfulness UK through their 200 hour foundation degree level programme. She specialises in reducing stress, improving life balance and enhancing wellbeing. She has two young children and understands how challenging the journey to motherhood can be. Clare Byam-Cook, baby feeding expert
Clare specialises in helping mothers resolve breastfeeding (or bottle) problems and through her ‘mouth to nipple’ technique has supported thousands of new mums (including some well known faces such as Kate Winslet, Geri Horner, Lily Allen and Kate Beckinsale) in learning to breastfeed their baby. Trained as a nurse and a midwife, she worked for several years at Queen Charlotte’s Maternity Hospital in London before joining Christine Hill’s antenatal practice where she taught the breast-feeding classes until 2013. Clare carries out home or hospital visits to any mother who is having feeding problems and also sees clients at her house in London. She normally only ever needs to see a mother once for a one hour session – it is very unusual for a mother to need a follow-up session.
Clare has written three books, numerous articles and has a DVD on breastfeeding. She has also been a guest expert for various baby magazines such as Prima Baby, Mother & Baby and Junior Pregnancy & Birth. Catherine is a Registered Nutritionist (RNutr) and an expert in paediatric and maternal nutrition.
Accredited by the Association for Nutrition (AfN) she has over 10 years’ experience as a nutritionist and has worked for the NHS, Public Health England, BUPA and independent nutrition consultancies.
